I dont think Laf demands that much on his next deal, based off performance I would have him in more of the 2-3 year 2.75-3.25M range, I guess if you are trying to lock him up for a little longer that may make sense.

If he gets more than 60 points this season it will be tough. This is based on 2023-24 season. There is a chance he can breakout and hit 60 points mark

New York has an abundance of young players that look pretty good but just won't receive ice time. They don't have the cap to go after a big name so I think they should try to get a Higher first in 2023 to a more Prospect needy team maybe Seattle.

Maybe, Leo Carlsson would be nice. From what I've seen a bit of a Zib 2.0
But have to ask yourself why SEA would do that this draft?

I think Seattle has a Pretty good Year maybe finish with 10th or 9th overall. This draft also has a lot of centers which isn't necessarily a need with Seattle with Wright and Beniers If they could trade down and get a good prospect to it's totally worth it I think.

In theory, they could get a player they like and help stock the Prospect pool which is still small as this is their 2nd year.

I hope that would be the case. But not holding my breath smile
