As a hawks fan, I’d rather keep Johnson. Zaitsev takes Ian Mitchell’s spot in the line up. I think getting him games and developing him is more important than getting Zaitsev to fill the time. It’s also easier to ‘hide’ a forward in the lineup than it is a defenseman. Seems like Chi is doing Ottawa a favor in that regard. Gotta think LA matches that. They trade Walker and are in the clear.
