This is pretty accurate and true to what they are going to do. I think the d corp will be blendered a lot to optimize match ups and I think they run Toews and Girard together because of how good they were together 2 years ago.

I think Avs will end up platooning that second line center position giving everyone a shot depending on score/time/injuries. Everyone from Newhook moving Rantanen up to Meyers and JT. Seems like with everything McFarland has been saying this is basically our opening night roster. I am a huge Girard fan, I'm so glad Avs didn't trade him, he had really good chemistry with Manson too until he was injured in the playoffs. Byram seems like he might be floating and might end back up with Makar at certain points when we need a goal.
