Terrible NYI trade

The CGY trade isn't bad, but there's no way Mailloux goes out to NYI. More likely someone like Struble.

Seems like a lot for Beau and no way Mailloux goes to the Islanders

If anything Dach needs Evans more then we need to move him
I assume Monahan was brought in to play beside Dach-Anderson.
Monahan might have declined offensively but when it comes to Faceoffs he's still solid as the day is long.
He would get top 6 minutes before TDL and his summer UFA saga
MTL will get to see if Dach can be invested in at Center in the middle 6 with proper support (Similar to Shaw playing by Danault or Eller beside Galchenyuk, or even Jumbo Joe beside Joe Pavelski

Suzuki.Dvorak and Evans was barely enough to cover for Dach's inability to take Volume or Quality numbers on Faceoff's.
Pitlick isnt a Center but he's a good option cause as MSL said when he first put him there on 2nd line C over Poehling he said
"I figured if you cant win the faceoffs you can win the battles and possession " which worked fine enough with Suzuki,Dvorak and Evans.
But now its diffrent as we have to put someone worse then Poehling at Center to take those faceoffs who better win those battles like Pitlick or learn to win Faceoffs'

CGY cant fit Evans, I also had this idea but i dont see it working
