Not going to be giving up a 1st "for cap" while taking back a significant amount of the cap back.

The difference between the players is around 2.5m. I took a 2nd+ 2024 3rd or 2026 2nd to dump Nemeth's 2.5m. That's not going to happen here though since the NHL players from Montreal are not far superior or at all than the one's from Edmonton.

So Edmonton gives up the better players with a first and prospect? Confused and see no upside or even silver lining in this for Edmonton.
