No way Pittsburgh gives all of that for just backstrom johansonn and niskanan. Malkin is a top 10 Center and quite possibly tope 5. So that deal would never get some. That's horrible.

Mr. Palley. I thought just the opposite. Three good Washington regulars, for Malkin and Perron who has one year left his contract. Interesting to know, what others think, but at this point in their careers, Backstrom may be the superior center to Malkin.

three Washington regulars that would put us right about on the cap if we don't get rid of another contract. There is no way in 1 million years this deal ever would be proposed or finished.
