Michkov to me because how sturdy he is, Matvei would be the perfect prospect. The KHL contract isnt too much of a hurdle as the Habs arent competing before 2025. Slafkovsky and Michkov on the left side for years to come with their right side loaded and down the middle looking great. They'd be set at forward group.

I think PLD is worse than Tavares because he's opinionated about his coaches to the media. We don't need that kind of player in our dressing room. Sure it's fine when it's going well, but the day it turns the other way... That's a powder keg waiting to explode in MTL.

No Habs fan is excited for a PLD acquirement, it's the media, and PLD's agent that has pushed this narrative. Jets leverage is zero. Habs have no reason to give anything away for him with their cap situation and centre depth
