This for me, is one of the best Kane trades I’ve seen

This is pretty much exactly what we would have to expect to pay to get Kane, however I think most oilers fans, including me would prefer to give up two lower grade prospects instead of Bourgault i.e Samorukov, Lavoie, Petrov

The one thing id change is not signing Aston-Reese, because we need that cap to sign Ryan McLeod

Oh yeah I forgot about McLeod, I knew I was missing something

This late in the game, EDM might be able to sign Gagner & Aston-Reese for 1 year each @$750k and still be able to use the difference to sign McLeod for around $925k to fit under the Cap with a full 23-man roster

I mean who wouldn't want to play with McDavid and jump on this finally decent looking contender train and be paid league minimum to do so!? I'm certain they'd consider it

I would keep ZAR and bin the Gagner signing. Not a fan of Slow Sam.
