The issue might be because Otter might be asking for 6m+ with term and that's probably too much to commit to him at this time, while Robertson probably wants 8m+x6, maybe even 9m+, while the team would probably want 7-8.5mx8. Based off their cap space, I would say something in the 7s for Robertson and a bridge deal in the 3s for Oettinger is likely what the Stars want but with 6-8 years and 3-4 years on the deals respectively.
