Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Erne, Adam
Additional Details:
First of all, thoI do think we could add more on Detroits side but just so people don’t get mad I’m making it a 1 for 1 trade but also Kerfoot does have a higher cap.
TRADE EXPLANATION FOR DETROIT: I think this is a good trade for Detroit I think adding someone like Kerfoot will be a good middle 6 penalty killer for them and I think Kerfoot is an upgrade over Erne.
DET
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
Additional Details:
I really wish I could add a pick but this is going to be the only way to sign Sandin so it’s not a bad trade.
TRADE EXPLANATION FOR TORONTO: Obviously like I said the only way the leafs would do this trade is so we can sign Sandin, but Erne is a solid bottom 6 all around player and I feel it isn’t a bad trade for either team.
2.
TOR
  1. Compher, J.T. ($1,750,000 retained)
Additional Details:
TRADE EXPLANATION FOR TORONTO: J.T Compher is one of the one of the top breakout candidates for next season I feel he can take the leap and become a great Top 6 player and getting him retained 50% is great for the team. Also taking chances on kinda random players is what Dubas does example Kampf, Bunting, and the list can go on so I feel as soon as he gets to the leafs he’ll be a 50-60 point player.
COL
  1. Der-Arguchintsev, Semyon
  2. Gogolev, Pavel
  3. Holl, Justin
  4. 2024 2nd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
TRADE EXPLANATION FOR COLORADO: Justin Holl, I think when he’s at his best he could be a solid top 4 defence-man but I think in Colorado he’ll be playing bottom pair or be the 7th defence-man. Next your getting 2 C+ prospects that can play within the next 3-5 years and also getting a late 2nd that who knows, could be a star.
3.
TOR
ARI
  1. Simmonds, Wayne

Actually, if you trade Kerfoot + a 3rd or 4th rounder to Arizona for someone like Nick Bjugstad wouldn't that solve the problem?

Yes it would

The guy clearly isn’t familiar with Kerfoot.

I’d take that trade a billion times out of 100 and I’d even add if necessary. But for just another $1.5m you upgrade from Erne to Kerfoot, very easy decision.

He's way better than kubalik, hell he'd be a better center than suter on the third line. I'm not gonna pass up a free player. As not being an Yzerman kinda guy I don't see where you get that. He can play pp or kill penalties and play multiple positions up and down the line up. He's a Swiss army knife guy who puts up 40 pts a season. Plus you can flip him at the deadline for probably a 2nd rounder. You really would rather have Adam Erne.

Tell me where? He's definitely not going top 6 barring any injuries. I doubt he gets 3rd line minutes over Kubalik and Zadina so we're basically putting a $3,500,000 per forward on the 4th line. Sorry don't see it and Kerfoot isn't an Yzerman type player anyways this has already been discussed to death.

I don't know where we'd put Kerfoot. But Adam Erne is Steve YzERNEn's son. I have no use for Erne really. But I do know that Yzerman values him much higher than anyone else does.

I don't care for Kerfoot's game, and I DESPISE all the Toronto ACGMs that keep trying to jam a square peg into a round hole with him and expecting picks coming back. With that said, I don't care for Erne much either and this may be the first Kerfoot to Detroit trade I've seen on here that I'm ok with.

Still don't see it happening, but kudos to you for at least being reasonable with value

I would take the Erne Kerfoot swap. Could find a home for Kerfoot to a team that would be interested in him but need to send a bit more salary back.
Jfstompers and aedoran liked this.
