We get 1st to downgrade from Dvorak to Faska (Faska is a very good defensive C)
Couple of waivers pick up to let Slaf/Barron/Harris get quality minutes and experience in the A

Not sure how this is worst..

Why would Dallas do that? Apparently Dvorak's value at best is a 3rd, and they'd be taking on cap.

I'm not a fan of either team, but Faksa has been really bad the past few years. I think if MTL were to retain ~1.2mil in cap to equalize the cap hits, it seems viable as a framework. In fact, if not for the Robertson situation, I'd think it viable even without the retention.
