Oilers

Initial Creation Date: Sep. 4, 2022
Published: Sep. 4, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I didn't research the trades. I have no idea who might be interested in Barrie or Foegele for 3rd or 4th round picks. Barrie is still a PP specialist and he led all D in scoring in 2021 so he definitely has value. Maybe to a team that struggled on the PP or struggled getting points from the back and with cap space.

Judging as to what been happening all offseason, dumping salary cost the team trying to trim cap. Some very valuable players changed hands who seems to have negative value in this market. With that in mind I think you will have a hard time getting picks for your cap dumps imo

Dallas isn't the team to take either of those contracts, let alone both. The cost for Dallas to be that team probably includes a 1st round pick because in order to re-sign Jason Robertson, Dallas would have to pay a king's ransom to cap dump both Faksa and Khudobin.

I don't see Broberg listed. IMHO, P.K. wasn't ever a great skater and the apparent decline would be a major concern for me. The same skating issues are also there with Stone. Besides, I don't see Dallas taking either contract let alone both.
