Lol, if they traded Makar, then if MacKinnon hasn't signed already chances are he doesn't resign, and if they don't do that great in the next two years, then Rantanen probably tests free agency as well.

Also, MTL wouldn't give all that up for Makar.

No because we can very seriously eliminate 15-20 easy . There are a handful of teams that can legitimately win the cup

    still the odds are ****.

avs team was good enough to win with .900 goaltending. top 9 is stacked and d is still top 10.

Again your goaltending has gotten a lot worse. They beat a team decimated with injury who has played more hockey than anyone else over the last three years great accomplishment, but thinking that will happen again would be very foolish.

avs were injured too. franky played well in the playoffs and georgev is unproven so that's a wait and see. avs didn't need elite goaltending to beat the bolts. in the end it was the avs heavy forcheck and speed that did tampa in.

Blah blah blah....... Their goaltending isn't good enough to repeat. They don't get there with Georgiev and franky

like i said they beat the bolts with .900 goaltending. with good goaltending it might have been a sweep. with the avs forwards and d they might only need average goaltending.

they were only 2 shots away from either of those games even getting to ot. avs have already won with .900 goaltending so i don't see why they can't do it again.

most teams aren't TB and go back to back especially without really good goaltending . No Kuemper, Kadri or Burakovsky. Good luck

Avs beat the bolts with a one eyed goalie. Nobody has been able to successfully use the "subpar goalie cant win a cup" argument since Antti Niemi won a cup. Miss me with that.

Meh, Avs lost Berky who was a scratch in the playoffs and Kadri who in the 3 SCF games he played, had a broken thumb and couldn't take draws or shoot. I will miss how he lit the lamp for an OT winner.#TooManyMen

I think the Avs got better in net. They now have 4 functioning eyes between the two goalies instead of 3. Net increase.
