Canucks and kings most likely decline. Trading Rathbone would be a mistake considering he is our best prospect and has upside after OEL in the future. and from the Kings, it may be a lateral move since they have Bjornfot and Andersson.

I don’t see either team accepting the Pearson deal. Pearson isn’t a cap dump so I don’t think the Canucks should pay to get rid of him and I don’t see the Yotes trading a young player and a third to move up a round and get a player that doesn’t fit their timeline.

The Kings-Canucks trade is an interesting idea. I think that Durzi is ahead of Rathbone in development but it can certainly be argued that Rathbone has a higher upside. I think that this is an exchange that would depend upon factors of which we on CF are ignorant -- namely, how the respective scouting staffs view the two young men.
