Not even in the ballpark, For Elias Pettersson.

Way too much for Pool Party, Hoglander alone is probably worth more than Pool Party. Plus you add a 2nd round pic. Holland would be lucky to get a 3rd for Puljujarvi.

I think you guys over value Pettersson a bit. Considering how hard it is for teams to find top 4 RHD. Pettersson has yet to break 70 points, still just entering his prime right now being he turns 24 this year, but I think what you see is what you get with him right now. I think this is a pretty good return but could add something else like Studnicka or Beecher.

He hasn't broken 70 points due to Injury, Carlo is a 2nd paring RHD, a late first plus a good prospect isn't enough for the canucks to move their franchise center who leads his draft class in points

He only missed 2 games last season, not really an excuse there. Either way when he has been healthy he hasn't been a ppg player but very close to. I think he likely will be a ppg player and maybe get close to 90. But getting a proven top 4 RHD, which Vancouver could really use, is a pretty good return already and adding a top prospect and a first isn't a bad return.

Barely leads the Draft class in points, there are lots of players not far behind him.

He had a taped wrist for half the year. In the second half of the year when his wrist healed he had a 46 goal 96 point pace. And you would be the worst GM in history if you traded a star for “fair value”

Yeah lets trade away our 23 year old franchise center for a second pair d man, prospect, and late first round pick. Surely nobody will think this is unfair.... I've heard that any trade involving McAvoy must include Pettersson, so any trade involving Pettersson must include McAvoy

Not really... Only person in the 2017 draft class that could jump ahead of Pettersson is Makar. Next up is Hischier who has 15 less points in 55 more games.

Played with an injured wrist for the first half of the season. Put up 49 points in the last 40 games of the season. Thats a 100 point pace. You think the Canucks are stupid enough to trade a franchise cornerstone player for "fair value" that is based off his performance while playing injured?

fair but even being the top of your draft class doesnt make you a franchise center.

Sure, but with him being a Calder winner and him being over ppg after the asg last year when he wasn't hurt does
