Poolman and Dickinson combined is 5.1 million. Pearson is also likely moved. Solid third line guy at 3.2, wont get much for him but it shouldn't take much to get rid of him
Yeah, I would imagine that Dickinson, Pearson, and Myers would be guys who are more likely to be moved for cap reasons than Poolman. Of course with Myers they would probably be clearing only 4m, but chances are that they be acquiring a useful player back.
Moving Poolman though might not free up much cap, because they probably won't be willing to attach an asset to move him if that's what's required and the only other option is that he gets traded for futures for a trade that clears his entire cap hit.
The other reason that I would expect Poolman to be the last to leave, is that there should be a RD spot for him to play if Schenn leaves. Myers would be moved only to acquire a different RD, perhaps a RHD one that may become available in Free Agency like Dumba or Severson. As for the two forwards their combined AAVs can be better used to sign Kuzmenko (if it works out), Hoglander, and/or Horvat.
So, that's why I said it kind of depends on what they want to do. It's quite possible that Poolman could garner a lot of interest if he does well and perhaps he's moved for futures then but I think Vancouver will want to keep him in that case.
