Can only wish that some players that you suggest are on LTIR. Know for a fact that Stevie S. would not come to Toronto with THIS lineup.

We said the same about Babcock but ended up in T.O

I doubt toronto will be able to pay Stamkos double the next top earning player though lol.
But I so agreee it doesn't make sense to sign Stammer when you are rebuilding. Specially if you think the team is bad enough to have a chance at Austin Mathews.
I'd much rather have Dion play in that defensive corps rather than be on LTIR.
