Forward Group is super deep and looks good. That D corp though is horrendous. At least they have a boat load of D Prospects. And they have quite a few guys on expiring contracts that they can half retain on and flip for assets. Montreal is in a great position.

A guy like Dadonov at 50% retention will be very desirable. Same with Drouin if he can stay healthy.

I am excited to see what Hughes does. If I were him I would try to get rid of some long term cap up front, retain on a few pending UFAs for picks. If he does this, they will be set up very nicely for the future.

I think the best prospect exchange is anderson. you could get a great 4-5m defense + 1 choice.
