DeMelo was 8th in Defensive WAR, Ev Off/Def he was 83/90 with a PK of 71 according to jfresh last year. Holl was much lower. DeMelo really is underrated. He can play up and down the lineup, he steadies almost every player he is paired with, plays much tougher matchups and is on a great deal, he’s just not flashy, but neither is Holl.
Winnipeg declines on salary reasoning alone.
