Next Year with cap raise

Created by: All_Knowing

Description
No I do not think this happens. Just bored. Also, I don't really want the Caps to go after Tarasenko - just throwing him in there as a goal scorer.

But this team would be very fun to watch. Offense would be really great and dynamic. Defense would be fine (basically run it back with this year's defense). Goaltending the same.

The only problem with this team I see is the lack of center depth. I guess you have Lapierre and Borgstrom ready to step in.

I am sure there are problems with this team (contracts or wrong players to sign), but just taking up some time before the season.

I think by this point, Snively will be looking for that 3LW role and Lapierre will almost definitely be with the team full time. I think if anything, the team will have plenty of depth and they could even look at packaging a couple guys in a blockbuster trade.

Also, I think Orlov gets more, but all the other numbers make sense.

I think that they end up not being able to re-sign brown and spread that money around between Orlov, Jensen, and Strome.

Forward lines will look something like:
ovi-kuzy-wilson
mantha-strome-top 6 signing
snively-mcmichael-oshie
ajf-dowd-protas

Good point all around - I am still hesitant with Snively. Only a handful of games (11 or something). And yes, he looked like he belonged, but more time to prove it this year!
