Pettersson is still a very solid top 4 dman. Wed keep him if we didnt have 9 NHL caliber dman

More likely to see Dumoulin moved because of his contract. Pettersson may be better at this point anyway.

But aren't you trading him to be cap compliant?
Seems like alot of fan bases says this about their proposed cap dumps. This guy is too special to be a cap dump. But cap space is even more valuable this offseason
