Description
I think Tampa will obviously make the playoffs but I only see them finishing the regular season with "only" 101 points. The loss of Cirelli with hurt in the 1st half. No McDonagh will mean more responbilites for Sergachev. I believe Killorn and Hagel will continue to struggle and put up dismal numbers. It doesn't make sense, but it's a gut feeling. I may seem crazy, but I don't think either Killorn or Hagel will surpass 40 points. I believe Nick Paul, Ross Colton, and even Corey Perry will have more points than Hagel and Killorn. They signed Phil Myers to an extension so it looks like he'll be in the Top 4. Myers was terrible in his last year in Philly and wasn't any better in Nashville. I think they're hoping Myers can do what Rutta did which was be a solid partner for Hedman. I don't know what to expect from Myers. When is Cal Foote gonna take a step forward? The first half I believe will be rough. Enough with the negative. I believe they turn it up in the second half. Vasy will continue to be great. I see Killorn and Hagel eventually getting things together in the second half. For example I can see Hagel only having 3 goals and 7 assists in the first 41 games but having 12 goals and 14 assists in the final 35 games he plays. Nick Paul and Ross Colton will continue to be solid third liners that can jump into the Top 6 when needed. Corey Perry will continue to defy Father Time. I still think this team will make another deep playoff run.

No Cirelli no problems. Lines in my mind would look like

Killorn-Point-Kuch
Colton-Stammer-Hagel
Namestnikov-Paul-Perry
Maroon-Bellemare-BB

Could even go

Killorn-Point-Kuch
Colton-Paul-Stammer
Hagel-Namestnikov-Perry
Maroon-Bellemare-BB

Those are still some pretty solid line ups. Plus the way I see it Hagel wasn’t really getting enough ice time to really play the way he did in Chicago which some of that may have come from playing with Kane as well but if he could put that up playing with Kane then I’d imagine he could do very well playing on a line with Kuch or Stammer. But for Killorn I’m still unsure of why his numbers disappeared in the playoffs though. I guess that’s just playoff hockey for ya. Can be pretty unpredictable at times.

Don't see Cooper breaking up the school bus line of Maroon, Perry and Bellemare
Colton has shown he's got a shoot first mentality which is needed playing with Kucherov which is where I think he should and will be. Lines look something like ...
79-21-86
91-71-17
90-20-38
14-41-10

Both Killorn and Hagel should easily exceed 40 points if used correctly. I believe they will have Namestnikov in the top 6 initially, especially with Cirelli out(he won't ne out yhe entire 1st half either, expected back early December). Names isn't well suited at all in a 3rd line checking role, and when he's played with good linemates he has shown some offensive ability. Hagel should also get a top 6 spot to show his potential. While Cirelli is out, rolling
Names-Point-Kuch
Colton-Stamkos-Hagel
Killorn-Paul-ABB/Koepke/Fortier
Maroon-PEB-Perry
This seems solid enough, with Colton/Killorn possibly switching places. It will possibly provide the team with two good scoring lines ans a 3rd line with 2/3 solid two way players and, hopefully, some scoring ability. Once Cirelli returns it's a little trickier, especially if some of these lines ha e found chemistry together. I could see Cirelli hack at 2C with Stammer moving to 2RW, and having Hagel on 2LW, or Cirelli could anchor the 3rd line with Paul and the best other forward fit. Namestnikov could end up on the 3rd line by then if he hasn't worked in the top 6, but he likely will fit in even more poorly if asked to play in that role.

Looks like Hagel could start on the same line except Paul is the centre because of Cirelli being hurt.
