Not necessarily. Chances of the Canucks being able to land Gavrikov, let alone Gavrikov making it to market next off-season aren't very high. There is your cap for Hoglander and then some

If they can't sign Gavrikov they need to find another top 4 dman then. Either by trade or as a FA. You aren't really gonna take any of those guys out of the top 9 so there isn't really a spot for him currently.
