No chance they trade Wahlstrom for konecny

-I don't think Edmonton says yes to this deal but I'd slam the "accept" button if the Oilers put it in front of me.

-No thanks, Konecny is a fine player, but not enough of a needle mover to give up Wahlstrom. He's more of a playmaker than a finisher, which is what the Isles need - and Wahlstrom has shown enough flashes of potential to -be- that finisher that I wouldn't be happy trading him for Actually Good Josh Bailey, especially since it forces another move...

-...which is dumping a slightly lesser player in Palmieri. Beyond the fact that this isn't enough for the Coyotes to take 3x$5M, and the fact that Palmieri's NTC most assuredly has Arizona on it, it basically means that you're trading Oliver Wahlstrom, Kyle Palmieri, & a 2nd to get back Travis Konecny & a 4th. Again, Konecny is a fine player, but that's a ton of assets to give up for a minor upgrade.
