Vegas isn't trading Hague

VGK has around $3M to sign him. Either he is asking for more, or Vegas is offering less. There is no way it should take this long. Apparently Elliotte Friedman said VGK has a plan.. so maybe it involves him being dealt.. who knows.

Vegas also has 49/50 contracts signed and Hague will be 50. So unless the pens want to eat contracts this isn't possible.

As to Elliotte he just said that Vegas wasn't sitting still. He has more than once said he doesn't have any idea what is happening. Also why would Vegas move on their number when Hague is their 3rd pair and if Hague waits until the regular season he loses money. Nylander's contract was worth almost 11M when he signed so the longer Hague waits the lower his AAV will have to be to fit under the cap.
