Description

If the initial offer is Voracek for Duchene straight up, whats your counter offer?

Assume the trade is pre-expansion draft. I'm looking for opinions of both Flyers and Avs fans.

The roster below assumes Ghost is resigned and Lindblom signs his ELC.

Yeah, I would pass on this. I would want more for Voracek

Ok, but what's the counter offer? I get that the trade as is may not be enough.

Even if the value is there, not interested. Avs need to get younger, not older and more expensive.

I think I would take this. Move MacKinnon to Centre Voracek. Think the Avs problem is the fact they we have C depth and not much on the wing.

If Voracek is on the table, I'd ask for Rantanen and Duchene plus a 2nd rounder in '18 for Voracek, either the BOS 3rd rounder or our 4th rounder, and a low-mid level prospect or one of Read/Weise/Raffl. I'd like to see what the young players can do for this roster.

I doubt the Avs would lose Duchene and Rantanen for Voracek. He is a great player but not worth the pair. For me it works for the Avs, MacKinnon and Voracek with Landeskog/Rantanen 1st line and build from there.

It doesn't seem a deal suitable for Flyers IMO. Duchene is more of a C than wing and with Giroux/Filppula and Couturier it doesn't seem logical.
