Description

Imo Chinakov and Christiansen have earned spots on opening night based on their play in preseason action. Blankenburg would be one of my last cuts with the RHD competition and lots of non waivers exempt forwards.

KJ is gonna be a player but i think development at the AHL level would benefit his growth as an NHL player.

Marchenko also been generally positive in camp too.

For lines i generally went for a theme of balance in terms of pass/shoot with the forwards and offensive/defensive on the backend.

Yes but no 😂. Would rather let him play more free in the AHL and adapt his game than get buried in the NHL lineup in more limited minutes. He’s got a ton of skill but needs to channel it a bit more efficiently at the NHL level imo
