Description
MSL said that he will put his A lineup on the ice for the last 2 pre season games. He also seems to be going with duos. We already had Caufield/Suzuki. Now there seems to be 2 others: Dvorak/Gallagher and Evans/Pitlick.

We don't know yet who will play 3rd C between Dach and Monahan. I see them as the other duo, with both guys alternating depending on the faceoff side, OZ/DZ, etc.

I thing Slafkovsky is not ready yet and putting him on the roster will just burn his confidence and development over time. He needs to go to Laval and learn to play on an North American rink.

Armia plays on the 4th line. Anderson, Drouin and Dadonov will fill the 3 other duos and will interchange from time to time. Hoffman will most likely be the 13th F, therefore being scratched when everyone is healthy.

On defense, with Edmunson's injury, there are 3 spots to fill. Matheson, Savard and Wideman are sure to fill the top 3 spots. Guhle and Xhekaj have played great enough to crack the lineup, and Xhekaj will most likely be sent down to Laval when Edmunson comes back.

Barron would have been the logical choice for 3rd RD spot, but he didn't look good in pre season. Harris played on that spot yesterday. He hasn't looked good either, but we don't have many options. With PIT needing to waive a D since they got too many, maybe acquiring PO Joseph could do the trick.

In net, there's no debate as Allen and Montembeault will start the season.

I'd like to see Dach on the right side of Suz/Cauf personally

I posted the same this morning. He has the size, skill, and speed to play there. No one else on the lineup does (except maybe Monahan)

I doubt they play any defense pairs with 2 rookies.

Matheson Harris/Barron (whomever they decide on)
Guhle Savard (Clearly a match already)
Xhekaj Wideman
Schueneman

Whomever of Harris Barron is not playing will head to Laval, expect a round-robin. Personally I think they are looking to send BOTH Harris & Barron to Laval, but they need to find a trade or a waiver wire pickup.

I could see them throwing Bowey in there and just sucking hard for the season, leave Barron in Laval to finish developing (Xhekaj too)

Guhle Savard
Matheson Bowey
Harris Wideman

Edit*** That being said, I'd rather trade Harris and play Xhekaj 3LD
