My Lineup Prediction With Robertson

Created by: Hockyluv21
Team: 2022-23 Dallas Stars
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 6, 2022
Published: Oct. 6, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I would not be shocked if Johnston plays his way to 3C, but I also think that he will need to prove himself in a lower line to actually stick with the team. One thing that I will say is that Dallas' superb drafting is what keeps them relevant even with a few bad contracts here and there.

I am not a stars fan or follower, but why not play Johnston as the 2/3 center? He is good enough to start as the 3C and makes his way to the 2C after a few weeks. He is so good

He's had an excellent training camp, but the regular season with full NHL rosters is just so different from the preseason. I see him starting at 4C on opening night and then gradually getting promoted. 2C IMO is the best possible outcome, but the most likely outcome is probably 3C for this season.

Benn and Segs on the same line is a defensive nightmare. I think Wyatt will start at RW

Marchment should (emphasis on the should) considerably help in that regard. Thankfully the Stars' drafting is their saving grace as a franchise.

I'm still a bit miffed that Marchment chose Dallas over my hometown Carolina Hurricanes (apparently he preferred the familiarity with Dallas' coaching staff), but Pacioretty should be an excellent consolation prize when he returns in a few months. Marchment with our group would've been so OP, but oh well.

Marchie would be a monster in Carolina. I’m liking DeBoer hockey so far and I think he’ll be a monster here as well. Patches is amazing in the playoffs. You’ll be pleased if he’s healthy
