Holland already said at the conference presser that he wont move picks to get rid of bad contracts, So i don't see him giving Vegas a 3rd to take Helm. If we move Mrazek i would rather deal him and maybe Nyquist to Philly for Sam Morin not really all the high on Kylington but other wise not bad deal here.

It is not the worst I have seen for sure, but there are definitely some issues. Like for instance, having 9 defensemen on the roster or playing Athanasiou at center when he has been almost exclusively a wing since joining the Wings.

I personally do not like the idea of having Larkin as the 1C either. I know he played well at the World's and he should be played at center only going forward, but I would prefer to see Frans and Zetterberg taking the top two center spots. A top 9 of Abdelkader/Zeterberg/Nyquist, Tatar/Nielsen/Mantha, Athanasiou/Larkin/Svechnikov would be ideal IMO. This would give the Wings three lines that should be able to score while also giving them the forward depth to take advantage of most teams third or fourth lines.

Appreciate the feedback and McIlrath should have been in minors here. Hicketts would be 1st call up if injuries occur. I agree with the majority of your line combos. Although I would like to see Z play with Svechnikov so he can learn from him, similar to how he helped Mantha progress last year. I still think we need to deal Nyquist or Tatar to get us a solid 1D man to build the Defense corps around.
