I'm hoping for something like 2 years at 3mil per. But I feel like it's gonna be more like 5 years and 4 mil per, which is huge overpayment IMO

I was in the mind of 3.75 a year for 4-5 years so that Isnt too far off.

Honestly, he doesn't deserve anything north of 3.75 million, but JB is gonna give it to him. Unfortunate but management stinks. I'm happy if they can get Horvat locked up at 8 years, 6 million per. What do you guys think about that? Would Horvat or JB do it?

Given how poorly Gudbranson played for us when healthy I wouldn't expect him to sign for anything more than 2 years between $3-4M. Paying Horvat $6M for 8 years is too long. I expect no more than a 5 year contract tops.

Hopefully like 3-4 yrs for like 3-3.5m for Gudbranson
For Horvat I think 6 yr for 5 m is good, I don't think Bo will really expect to get payed higher than that

Ik they're a rebuilding team, but could they potentially make a run for, say Dumba or Brodin? Young quality Dmen that will be around for a while. While VAN may not have the assets to get them, MIN is facing their own ED issues so they're better off striking something than nothing. Crazy thought, but hey that's what this site is for awesome face

Compare Horvats contract to Toffoli. Similar stats theres the value (Roughly) Maybe add a couple years as he is a corner stone piece and bump up to 5 mil but i think thats reasonable.

Do you guys think it's a good idea if we just drop from fifth to like 7-10th, (if like Dallas trades their pick to another team and they pick vilardi, and Colorado picks glass) like for example 5th overall to buffalo for 8th + prospect/2017 second rounder. Using that pick we take Pettersson

The gap from 3-10 isn't that big really, so I wouldn't mind that. I see Colorado picking a dman tho, not Glass

I'm pretty sure they were gonna do that with Vegas, until Vegas realized that Vancouver is interested in pettersson not Glass so then they backed out, and it is too risky to drop with others teams as they might value Pettersson high as well
I am fine with Pettersson at 5, it is a great pick, don't get why the fans are complaining
