I like the Anaheim idea but your going to get bashed by others. Everyone thinks it will cost a lot. I don't as Anaheim is in a bad situation with their D and the expansion draft

I don't think Anaheim is in that much trouble in regards to their Dmen... they have to protect Getzlaf, Perry, Kesler and Bieksa because of the no movement clauses in their contracts and if they go with protecting the 8 players and 1 goalie it will be only be Silfverberg and Manson exposed and Silfverberg would be chosen. They are going to do their best to get Bieksa to wave his no trade and deal him before the Draft in which case only Manson will be available and there are several teams drooling to get that guy, so he will be dealt before the ducks lose him in any Draft.

It's going to take more to get vatanen. Plus bieksa already said he's waiving so Anaheim has options

I agree the price is high, but not knowing about Bieska changes things. Looked to go low on the price because he is out 4-6 months
