Probably. Forward core looked pretty solid tonight so I'm not sure if making any noteworthy change would be good? I would have said play him over Dries but I thought Dries had a really strong game.

I thought Dries was alright. It's clear that Studnicka is the more important player for the organization and as a right-handed center I think he get's the look.

The depth players in general (except Joshua) have been very solid. Brisebois especially makes great reads all the time and plays a very reliable game. I remember the biggest knock on him in years and years of prospect/development/training camps was that he didn't look that engaged, he was always a step behind and never assertive. I think he's just a player that looks better in games than he does in drills or chaotic scrimmages. His best asset is his ability to read the play, and that works best in structured, organized hockey (at least relative to preseason). Rutherford talked about how if we play a strong team focused system, then depth players can step in reliably. Brisebois could definitely be one of those guys.
