Even if the Leafs were willing to overpay like that, the 3rd would have to be a 2023 3rd or the Leafs 1st would have to be 2024.

Chances are that Dubas would view Holl as better or just as good as Mayfield in negotiations.

Every GM is going to value their own players, when they are trying to make trades or they will be prone to being fleeced.
