I'm well aware Kane is the best of the 3.

But looking to bolster your depth at RW, by trading away 2 RW's to bring in only 1, kind of defeats the purpose.

At this point Lafreniere is more likely to go than Kakko.

Rangers pass on a Kane rental. Yeah, I know you show a new contract but that is fantasy land.

theres just no point in trading for kane for almost any price. the first line of KBK has been amazing at 5v5(all though they cant put the puck in the net as of RN) they have a 66% xG % which is 3rd best in the NHL(min 100 min played) per moneypuck.com. obviously kane would play with panarin if he gets here. the PTL line has not played too well at 5v5 this year but is it really worth trading away assets to move Laf down in the lineup one more year? NYR has more important needs rn imo. the 4th line has to change(specifically reaves who is god awful) and the 3rd pair has been shakey at times but a quality depth d man must be acquired at the deadline(similar to braun last year).
