Not a Cats fan, but am just curious about their cap situation for this year when Ekblad and Duclair come back as well as next off-season. What moves can they make really. Buyout Bob? Trade Knight? Trade Bob with retention? Trade Bennett/Reinhart? I have no clue. They have no 1st rounders in the future to replenish their prospect pool. it seems like they have a problem on the horizon.

They have like 15 million in cap space this coming offseason so there’s no problem there but fixing the defense. But they’ll figure it out when duclair is back. They’re just trying to wait until he’s ready.
