Let's recap...In the past 10 years, there are 25 players that have more points than Mitts. Let's be conservative and say 30 picks in the 2nd round...In 10 years, that's 300 players. 25/300 players have outperformed Mitts, who was drafted in 2016.

But sure...2nd round pick and a grinder sounds like fair value.

Just to make the math simple...25/300 is 8.3% chance of drafting someone better than Mitts in the next 10 years.

Dont need to worry about drafting a guy better than mitts when there already is one who has to watch from the press box lol. Kulich,Rosen,Savoie,Ostlund will all be better than mitts btw

Mitts has been playing pretty good defensively & has turned into a pretty decent 2way center
Sabres are unlikely to move him at this point

When do people ever learn? Prospects don't always turn out like you think they will and certainly not on the timeline you think they will. It was just one year ago that people were calling Dahlin terrible and trying to trade Tage for a 2nd round pick.

If Kulich, Rosen, Ostlnd were better than Mitts, they would be playing. Instead Mitts is a top PP and PK F in the league.

Maybe in 5 years those guys can be better than Mitts. Maybe.
