Wild aren't taking in Mike Huffman, neither is any team. Nobody is giving up a 1st or anything for cap dump

Did you read the trade description my friend?
Where do you see the 1st round pick?
Did you read 'Any team' ?
Also, maybe you didn't detect the obvious irony?

The goal was to look at lineup.

Read it back. You'll figure it out. I asked for a bag of oucks... to any team.
Why are you taking this so seriously my friend.

          I see.
You're a Minnesota fan, bent on declining every possible MIN trade offer you can find.
          Remember. Humour. Joking. Lightness.
          I wrote - specifically - Any team.

Xhekaj-Savard might literally be on the ice for like 500 goals against if they play together for a whole year

Part of me wishes that was the case.
I'm disappointed the Habs are not 32nd in the NHL at the moment, givent the clear reconstruction phase they're in... and the 2023 Draft tenure.

Suzuki was drafted 13th, Caufield 15th, Guhle 16th. Even if we end up with a pick between 6 and 10, it's gonna be a good player.

But i would love a top 6 pick, i think they're all gonna be great players ready to play now. And there's the draft, maybe we'll be lucky.

Seems like the point is to build a non competitive team then.

I'm telling you, I'm a die hard fan, and it's the first time in a looooooooong time that I've been somewhat hoping they lose as many games as possible.

The 'nor do i care' are the actual trades proposed. Anyone not clouded by fierce reactivity from their fanbase fuel can see I'm just pushing people out of the lineup to see what remains, letting the fog dissipate. If no one grabs Hoffman off waivers, then it'll be AHL or 13th forward or McDonald's drive-thru cashier. That's fine.

The point was to get a look of the skeleton for the following yeat once the deadwood is out.
I whole heartedly agree with you, 100%, that this is a non competitive team.

The goal should have been to make it as horrid as possible this year. Not the following one.
I would have started Xhekaj, Harris AND Slafkovsky, together, in the AHL.
          Let them gain some experience.

And patch those holes with dead wood, as to plummet down the standings, to get a whiff of a top-8 draft pick.

But that's me. Not trying to suggest I know what I'm doing man.
Just an average fan that doesn't wish to become another unpaid, way-to-qualified fan who is wasting too much energy.

          Peace man
