Jets trading for Fleury would then mena we'd lose Hellebuyck in the expansion draft so imo it wouldn't happen.

Also, nobody is paying a 1st for Fleury.

wow it's that simple!!! Trade your 1st round pick for a starting goalie who's got stanley cups, and give Hellebuyck time to grow under a Veteran goalie just like Murray...oh wait, you now lose Hellebuyck to Vegas in the expansion draft AND you traded your 1st round pick...Sorry you just simply missed the expansion draft.

Basically you traded:

Hellebuyck + 1st (#13) for Fleury and to not lose one of Lowry/Copp/Armia/Dano/Myers however that shakes out. Not good evaluation especially because Fleury and Helly posted similar numbers last year
