Spurgeon is just fine for his contract and it's not exactly like we have ample replacements. It's so bad, you've got Sustr in the lineup and Dumba is set to walk at season's end. Next season you've got what, Addison on the top pair (barf), Faber on the 2nd pair (what could go wrong?), and ???? on the 3rd pair.

Not to mention, you got absolutely nothing of value in return. Yamamoto doesn't play center. A move like this just doesn't make sense.

Easy no from Edmonton. Spurgeon has a terrible contract and they simply don't have the space for it. Never mind next year when they have good young players to re-sign.
