He's pretty close. Bourgault would be maybe a 2nd round equivalent in this draft and Holloway is definitely worthy of a 1st. Broberg's evaluation is all over the map but hes worth a flier definitely more so than a guy like Puljujarvi. But I agree more needs to be added but its close.

You are not getting Chychrun for free! Have you seen him play at all? He's a top flight defenceman at the moment. He's what you hope all those guys traded could, maybe become in the end and the odds are none will be as good as Jakub. Not even close.

I'm not saying the value is off, just that Arizona is going to want actual draft picks and not first round equivalent prospects. The guys included in this trade are 20, 21, 21, and 31. Arizona is going to be bad for a long time, and most of those guys are too old to contribute to a rebuild.

Conversely, guys that would be taken with a 2023 and 2024 1st round draft pick are currently 17 and 16 years old, respectively.
