Canucks pass easily. If you want that retention it’s a 1st+

That’s at least a reasonable offer although I still wouldn’t do it. And no way Boesser (even with retention) deserves a first. He has 3 years left @ $6.5M, is a one dimensional player who hasn’t scored and is vastly underperforming his contract, and has publicly asked to be moved.

1. He has not publicly asked to move.
2. Usually his defensive game has been solid (usually played matchup) this year it’s just been off.
3. If he’s retained then the contract isn’t bad

But he has scored, 16 points in 20 games this season, and hasn't publicly asked to be moved.

His agent has been given permission to talk to other teams about a trade; reading between the lines - he wants out. He’s on pace for 20 goals this year (4 in 20 to date), not a good return for a $6.5M player. He had 23 each of the past two years. Bunting had 26 goals last year and 4 this, no one thinks he will get $6.5 M next year.
Going to be tough to move him without retention and impossible, imo, to get a 1st back (unless it’s 50%) but time will tell.

You reading between the lines is not Boeser publicly asking for a trade. He might want out but hasn't said so publicly as you claimed. Also, being on pace for 20 goals is very different than "hasn't scored" as you also stated. And at no point did I say we'd get a 1st for him. Facts matter and you just made up a bunch of crap.

Boeser's dad just died. Not really expecting him to be lighting it up right now. You do realize that Boeser has a 30 goal pace throughout his career right? Even in his worst years, he still puts up 20 goals.
