Just a math thing... it doesn't make sense for both teams to retain, especially since their contracts are the same length. It would make sense to just have SEA retain 1.3

I don't think Seattle is going to trade away their first line center (even if he's not their most productive one) just to open a spot for Wright, at least not right now when the team is rolling. Maybe they could explore trading a center in the offseason but during this season, when Wright is in and out of the lineup and currently away with Team Canada, such a shakeup isn't warranted.
