Except the rumours are that the Habs are interested in Boeser, and that the Canucks don’t want multi year cap dumps.

Canucks have rumoured interest in Monahan, so maybe something involving him. If not, Dadonov/Drouin + a 2nd or prospect (Canucks probably ask for Barron)

Hoffman actively makes the team worse. Tank commander and he's paid less. Hoffman might be the Habs MVP for the lottery draft. Boeser just does nothing and gets paid much more.

Ill take Tank Commander Hoffman anyday over Brock "dont lift a finger" Boeser. Enjoy the mushy middle and an awful cap situation.
