Time deal will probably just follow the traditional package of a 1st+prospect+roster player.

So probably something like dube+1st+coronato

some combination that has a 2023 1st + top prospect.
if SJ is ditching Meier then they have very little interest in getting good NHL players back, it'd just be for cap reasons. They'd be blowing it up and wanting quality prospects and picks

If the sharks take back salary it has to be a UFA and it adds no value to the deal. the picks and prospects are independent of the cap dump

they are taking back salary on good ( not great) young players that could be traded for other picks and prospects if they dont fit.
