If Seattle remains in the playoff hunt, I doubt they'll be sellers. Sprong has been a bottom six catalyst in the Kraken's scoring uptick, and I think his improvements are legit. But if they fall out of the race by the deadline, I could see them possibly selling players like Sprong. If that were the case, this sort of deal wouldn't be half bad, however I think Seattle would push for either a younger/higher NHL potential prospect than Damiani, or to upgrade the 4th round pick to a 3rd.

this doesn't actually save the caps much space and with how they're playing i would much rather take eller into the playoffs than gurianov. eller is definitely available for a mid round pick, but don't see them wanting gurianov back
