1st round (13th overall): Jimmy Snuggerud (F) over trading for Dach
1st round (26th overall): Jiri Kulich (F) over Filip Mesar (F)
1st round (27th overall): Filip Bystedt (F) over trading for Dvorak
2nd round (33rd overall): Owen Beck (F)
2nd round (62nd overall): Lane Hutson (D)
3rd round (66th overall): Jordan Dumais (F) over trading for Dach
3rd round (75th overall): Vinzenz Rohrer (F)
3rd round (92nd overall): Adam Engstrom (D)
4th round (122nd overall): Cruz Lucius (F) over Cedrick Guindon (F)

6th round (162nd overall): Fabian Wagner (F) over Emmitt Croteau (G)
7th round (194th overall): Alexander Pelevin (D) over Petteri Nurmi (D)
7th round (216th overall): Dyllan Gill (D) over Miguel Tourigny (D)

Canes pass. Have someone that is just better than Dvorak in Kotkaniemi. Not going to give you a 1st and 2nd for a guy that has been a meh middle six guy.

It's just a race for the quickest comment for likes. Most don't actually pay attention to the reasons for posts.

Hot take, if juraj was at the world juniors, Slovaks win it all.
Also, I think he could have been the best player in the tournament.

Would have been nice to ATLEAST see him play, no matter the outcome... they drafted him because he seemed to be able to take the pressure better than wright could, and yet now management feels like it's best to shelter him from the bright lights. Very odd development path thus far if i do say so myself

The Habs are now a legit tank. He needs to be out of this mess. Confidence for a kid his age is everything. I dont know what you do with him besides put him in the AHL. Drafting Kulich would have been perfect as he's ripping up the AHL for the Buffalo affiliate. Slaf/Kulich combo in the A would have been fun to watch. They cant even bring Mesar back up to the A now after his junior demotion.

The draft was still quite good. Snuggerud's potential is good for sure but Beck, Hutson along with Dach was quite the haul. They look like they'll have at the very least 2 top15 picks this draft. If they can get Sale and one of Will Smith or Adam Fantilli, I'll be happy!

Agreed, could you imagine a line of Slafkovsky-Kulich-Roy for the rocket?! To bad...

Only thing at this point I'm looking forward to besides the obvious Johnathan Drouin Gomez 1st goal in a year lmao is the TDL and Sean Farrell coming up at the end of the year.

Next 2 months will be tough to watch. I ignored most of their road trip and focused on the WJC.
