Very insightful comments, your knowledge is very refreshing on this site.
"Btw I understand whoever was frustrated by Mittelstadt but he’s in line for 50 point season if healthy. Showing progress at least"
Casey seemed to give up about 10 games into the season, Jost has pumped some energy into him and Victor. One more RHD (Schenn would probably be the least expensive), stabilize the GK, improve the PK and it will be an interesting decade.

Maybe Braun if we are just looking at a little push for this year.

No, he wouldn't be a good addition. He would cost a ton to acquire and would have a massive cap hit. We already have our top 2 centers and have a ton of options in the pipeline as well. Giving money and max term to players his age, especially after handing over prime assets is foolish, especially when it isn't even a need!

We have plenty of leaders and players growing jnto leaders on this team, such a move is unwarranted, unnecessary and will destroy our cap space situation

Agree and disagree at same time
Horvat would be incredible second line centre for any team including us and make cozens one of best third line centres in league with JJ and Quinn but agree he’d complicate cap future
Two decent d and we’re ready for playoff run
With most teams in cap hell i think him and few other good players will be available in july because most teams will have to somehow dump players to have room to sign

Braun a solid player but why pay for a rental that will resign with Philly next year.
This year unimportant but next year we need some strong adds and clear out non performers

laugh On the Bo Horvat signing, No way in hell is Horvat signing for 8 x $7,000,000 try more like 8 x $8,000,000 if not closer to 8 x $8,500,000 and Minnesota doesn't have the cap space for him.

What's so funny is this newby thinking, That Bo Horvat who's on pace for 61 Goals and 93 Points is signing for $7,000,000 per. Obviousy he hasn't been watching what's going on here lately.

He deserves and will get 8 at least but can’t be signed for 8 years. Only 7 years
