Description
I cant imagine I am too far off on these guys. Dont get caught up on the late picks, its mostly just the idea that theyre pending UFAs so get some value. I know the Laf take is controversial but that is just what I see happening. It just makes more sense for these teams. Rangers get a forward for the next 3.5 years and still have their two firsts to replace Kane once he leaves/retires, and the Hawks dont need more picks, they need players and a like of Reichel-Bedard/Fantilli/Carlson-Laf would be great for development, plus for the last 20 games of this season they can play Laf for 20 mins a night with Reichel and Blackwell. I could also see Chicago keep Domi to prioritize Laf's development.

But again, just some ideas
Trades
1.
CHI
  1. 2023 4th round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Not Anaheim, anywhere for a mid pick
2.
CHI
  1. 2024 7th round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Not Anaheim, anywhere for a 7th
3.
CHI
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
A 3rd goalie for stability (Cambell sucks, insurance for if Skinner gets hurt)
4.
CHI
  1. Bailey, Josh
  2. Wilde, Bode
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (NYI)
  4. 2024 2nd round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
Islanders shed Bailey's cap hit and get a solid top 6 player depending on if NYI keep Holmstrom, Raty up and how long Palms is out
5.
CHI
  1. Holl, Justin
  2. Voit, Ty
  3. 2023 1st round pick (TOR)
  4. 2023 3rd round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
Not as much my value rather what I have seen, but Toronto gets McCabe for 2.5 years at 2 mil AAV which is very solid and worth a lot to TOR, so they give up a protected 1st and 3rd, along with their like 4th prospect. Then get some depth
TOR
  1. Entwistle, Mackenzie
  2. McCabe, Jake ($2,000,000 retained)
6.
CHI
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (SEA)
  2. 2024 6th round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Any team looking to add speed, not necessarily Seattle
7.
CHI
  1. Kaut, Martin
  2. 2023 1st round pick (COL)
COL
  1. Toews, Jonathan ($5,250,000 retained)
8.
CHI
  1. Lafrenière, Alexis
  2. 2024 7th round pick (NYR)
  3. 2025 4th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
This just makes so much sense. Both fan bases think their side is worth more. Hawks can develop Laf, Rangers wont. He is so talented. He wont be Patrick Kane but he can still be a top liner.
NYR
  1. Kane, Patrick ($5,250,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Kane agrees to a 3x5.75 mil extension (team friendly)

yeah, no. the leafs arnt giving up all of that for someone they dont remotly need. McCabe isnt very good, he's not worth a 1st alone let alone the prospect leading the OHL in scoring. Just awful value for toronto
not to mention the rest of the deals are also heavily favouring chicago, no one but them does a single one of these

3rd for Stalock is a bit rich, and the Oilers have Pickard that they can call up

It amazes me that anyone thinks a first overall pick from two years ago having played two seasons is the right value for ANY rental. Patrick Kane will never fetch Alexis Lafreniere. You can talk yourself into that but it is nothing more than a fantasy.
