This is pretty good stuff. I think we could get rid of Holden in this scenario as well, and I dont see a 5th rd coming back from VGK, but the Miller trade makes sense. I also think you trade Raanta in this scenario to try and pick up a 2017 2nd round pick as well as a few more. Not sure I like Williams for our forward group, the faster we are the better and he would be too slow for my tastes. But def the right track of ideas.

Good point on the Raanta scenario. Can definitely recoup nice picks by moving him. I would keep Holden around if the right deal doesn't come around. Keeping him around as a 3rd pair wouldn't be the worst. Williams would be a short term solution with Skjei, Hayes, Vesey all becoming RFAs the following year.
